As told through inspiring case histories, Dr. Sinatra illustrates how to reopen the heart by releasing long-repressed emotions. By explaining breathing techniques and body movements, he shows how to soften muscular tension and restore blood flow and life energy. He describes the value of sharing with others in the supportive group setting and becoming open to practices such as meditation, prayer, and visualization. Dr. Sinatra discusses the significant impact that optimism and positive emotions can have on the healing process, as well as defines the correlation between negative feelings and the manifestation of disease. Published by Keats in both 1996 and1999.

How much of each pill should be taken daily and/or each time. Twice a day or how should they be taken?

Under "More about the Awesome Foursome" above, click on each of the four the links: coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine, magnesium and D-ribose. Recommended doses for for various conditions are listed at the end of each article. The number of pills you would take depends on the particular brand you buy, as dosages may differ per pill. Follow the directions on the bottles after consulting with your physician about which nutrients and doses are right for you based on your particular medical history and state of health (supplementatio n is not "one size fits all").

For more detailed information on each nutrient, you may be interested in reading "The Sinatra Solution: Metabolic Cardiology" (Basic Health, 2011).

Pathology (becoming ill) is really a form of dis-ease that emerges from chaotic imbalance of mind, body and spirit. Heart disease frequently results from this disturbed relationship. When considering any illness, diagnosis or treatment, it's important to focus not only on the disease and the physical dysfunction created, but also on the human operational planes - the physical, metabolic, emotional, mental, and even the spiritual.

Pulsation...

Is the key element in health. When a cell is in a well-nourished, oxygenated, environmentally balanced state, an effortless pulsation occurs. When a cell becomes contracted due to metabolic, environmental, or emotional factors, pulsation is disrupted and healthy functioning is disturbed. The heart is the ultimate organ of pulsating muscle, engaging the energies and interactions of mind, body, and spirit.
