Great video, NaturalMed, thanks!
The vast majority of scientists who have researched the health effects of cell phone radiation have said that (1) we need more proof to conclude that cell phone emissions at currently permitted standards are either harmful or safe, i.e. "more research is necessary," and (2) we should take precautionary measures with regard to cell phone exposure until we do know more, ESPECIALLY with children and teens because they are known to be more susceptible to radiation than adults because they are still growing.
Cell phone / mobile phone mast radio frequencies are very close to those used with WiFi (2.4 GHz). Why wouldn't it also be appropriate to take precautionary measures to reduce children's (involuntary) exposure to WiFi in schools, especially since, as someone said in the video, to date, no studies have been done on the effects of WiFi radiation on children?
Even the FCC (in Questions and Answers about Biological Effects and Potential Hazards of Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields) says "In general, while the possibility of 'non-thermal' biological effects may exist, whether or not such effects might indicate a human health hazard is not presently known. Further research is needed to determine the generality of such effects and their possible relevance, if any, to human health."
Why should school children be our guinea pigs? |
