The 2009 Swine pandemic is a global outbreak of a strain of influenza known as the H1N1 virus. Although this virus is gaining worldwide attention for its severity and widespread nature, it is important to remember that this virus has appeared before. However, since many people have not been exposed to this strain of virus since the mid 1900’s, they are not immune to it. Such susceptibility contributes to the ease with which it can be spread from person to person. Certain groups of people that are most at risk include children, young adults, and pregnant women, as well as people with chronic medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, lung disease, diabetes, asthma, and suppressed immune systems. Some people will be able to reduce or eliminate complications caused by colds or any flu-like illness by strengthening their immune systems and working on elements that can help reduce the strength of the virus. Taking basic measures such as practicing good hygiene, eating a healthy diet filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, and allowing oneself to get plenty of rest can help one ward off severe flu symptoms. There are also many herbs and nutritional supplements that can also help to prevent the flu. Licorice root, selenium, quercetin, vitamin D, and elderberry are all supplements that can be used to help strengthen one’s immune system. As well, these supplements can also help stop the replication of the virus and thwart the inflammatory reaction of the body caused by the flu virus (doctors call this "the cytokine storm").
Many of the symptoms associated with severe colds and viruses include fever, body aches, diarrhea, shortness of breath and vomiting. If you happen to contract a virus, it is important to get plenty of rest, continue to take nutritional supplements, and keep a positive mindset that you are going to get well. If your symptoms persist, seem to worsen, or you experience difficulty breathing, call you doctor immediately. Most people, however, fully recover within a week with no special treatment.

Good communicator, Dr Sinatra, but why say so many inconsistent or problematic things? Don't tell people they need their phones. Don't give the impression that their is such a thing as a "healthy" mobile phone. Don't focus only on heart & head. Don't mislead people into thinking texting is innocuous. There are so many factors.
Use your personability to encourage people to get that they CAN reform behaviour much further than you suggest. Don't treat people as less than able to handle the real bad news. Good for you to mention the cell infrastructure -- but don't you know, that these constant "low" exposures can be the worst of all, ethically & for health, or rather, death? Seen no studies?
How is partial awareness curative?
How does it undo the lies underlying the
whole business? Worried about contributing to public panic? The only ones who will panic at telling the whole truth, are those who perpetrate & abet the wireless travesty set upon us. It's time prominent people speak up consistently and unequivocally, and not let on that dangerous half-measures are adequate, morally or for health.
