As a conventionally-trained medical doctor who has earned additional degrees in naturopathic medicine, clinical nutrition, and acupuncture, Carolyn Dean is the paradigmatic “Doctor of the Future.” By interesting people in, as well as educating them about, how to best care for their bodies and minds, Dr. Dean helps people enhance and maintain vitality utilizing the best alternative and conventional techniques.

 Biography
 
Dr. Carolyn Dean is a medical doctor and naturopathic doctor. She has been in the forefront of the natural medicine revolution for over 30 years. She graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1978, holds a medical license in California, and is a graduate of the Ontario Naturopathic College, now the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
 
 
 
Dr. Dean is the author/coauthor of 20 health books (print and eBooks) including The Magnesium Miracle, IBS for Dummies, IBS Cookbook for Dummies, The Yeast Connection and Women’s Health, Future Health Now Encyclopedia, Death by Modern Medicine, Everything Alzheimers, and Hormone Balance. Dr. Dean is the medical director of the Nutritional Magnesium Association, an online informational resource featuring videos and articles about nutritional magnesium.
